Drink a Cup and Do Good!

We have an awesome opportunity to bless the people of Rwanda and Fort Collins all at the same time! Epiphany will be sponsoring a Rwandan coffee tasting hosted at Nature's Own in Fort Collins on Saturday, December 3. We will be giving away sample cups of Rwandan coffee and have bags on hand for sale. All of the proceeds go to Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee, a micro-finance and Fair Trade coffee distributor. Not only is this coffee good, but $3 from every $10 bag sold goes directly into rebuilding the Rwandan economy. Not only does the company pay coffee growers a living wage (more than 3 times the amount that of other coffee brokers) but all of the profit from the sale goes into microfinance programs that enable Rwandan widows to rebuild their lives after the horrific genocide which wreaked havoc on this country just over 10 years ago. The funds are administered jointly through the Anglican Diocese of Shirya and through the Paul Rusesabagina Hotel Rwanda Foundation (and yes that is the guy from the film). So if you are in the area on Saturday the 3rd, come out and Drink a Cup and Do Good!
